My Notes
Does anyone keep dessert dishes like this anymore? I just serve mine in bowls. I have blue bowls, and it looks really pretty with the golden crisp and the white cream.
This is a great recipe using ingredients you probably keep in the pantry. This would be a great breakfast if you didn’t serve it with ice cream (or maybe if you do!). This is one of my favorite desserts, since it is not too sweet. Reduce the sugar if you still feel it is too sweet.
Make sure not to cook the mixture too long after adding the vanilla, since you can cook it off on the stovetop.
